I understand massage therapy is a collaborative process. I agree to clearly communicate pressure preferences, pain, discomfort, or changes in my condition during the session. I understand that failure to communicate may increase the risk of soreness or injury.

Customized Informed Consent & Liability Release

I understand that massage therapy involves physical manipulation of soft tissue, which may include deep pressure, stretching, or gentle movements depending on the type of massage.

I acknowledge that:

  • Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care
  • The therapist does not diagnose medical conditions
  • I have disclosed all relevant health information to the best of my knowledge

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with massage therapy, including soreness, bruising, swelling, fatigue, or discomfort that may occur during or after the session.

I release and hold harmless LaToya’s Healing Hands, LaToya Butler, and affiliated practitioners from liability for injury, pain, or discomfort arising from the massage, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

I also agree to:

  • Communicate any discomfort during the massage
  • Notify the therapist of any health changes before or during the session

Cancellation, No Refund & Liability Policy

Cancellation Policy

Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice
  • Missed appointments (no-shows)
  • Late arrivals resulting in shortened sessions

will be charged the full session fee.

Late arrivals will receive the remaining time of their scheduled session to respect other clients’ appointments.

No Refund Policy

All massage services provided by LaToya’s Healing Hands are non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Completed sessions
  • Partially completed sessions
  • Early termination of a session
  • Dissatisfaction with pressure, technique, or results when communication was not provided during the session

Massage therapy results vary by individual, and no guarantees are made regarding pain relief, relaxation, or outcomes.
